Antique Pink terracotta tiles are actual antique reclaimed, handmade clay tiles from France, selected for their soft rose colour, timeworn surface and historic character.

The tiles were traditional materials used for floor covering in many rooms of a building. Moulded by hand and fired in wood-burning kilns, these reclaimed French terracotta tiles bring a warm European country feeling to interiors where age, texture and patina are important.

Antique Pink Terracotta is part of the same broad family of antique French terracotta floors as red, yellow, hexagonal and parrefeuille formats. The colouration varies from soft rustic pinks to warmer rose and earthy red tones. The most common sizes are 15 and 20cm (6” and 8”) tiles, though sizes can vary. Thickness is usually around 2.5cm (1¼”), nominal.
