Dalle de Normande limestone flooring is reclaimed from the Normandy region of France. As the name implies, these stones are reclaimed from Normandy. Extremely rare, these floors are as precious as they are beautiful.
Hundreds of years in age, the hand shaping and smoothing of the surface add the feeling of history to any room. Antique Normande has an understated colouration of neutral beiges and subtle highlights of steel grey. Available in a truly random floor with no pattern and in coursed lengths, these stones are rarely larger than 30 x 30 cm (12″ x 12″). The thickness will vary from 2.5 to 3 cm (1″ to 1ΒΌ”).
The appeal of Dalle de Normande limestone flooring lies in its restraint. The neutral beige ground, softened surface and occasional steel-grey note give the floor a calm, ancient quality without making it feel heavy or over-decorative. Its smaller scale also allows it to work in rooms where larger flagstones might feel too dominant.
As part of the Antique Reclaimed Stone Flooring collection, this product belongs to Paris Ceramics’ wider archive of historic floors selected for patina, age and architectural character.

Because Dalle de Normande limestone flooring is reclaimed, every available batch should be considered individually. Surface wear, tone, size and quantity can vary, and these variations are central to the authenticity of the material. It is particularly well suited to period properties, country houses, entrance halls, kitchens and restoration-led interiors where a floor needs to feel settled, not newly imposed.
