Evocative of the great Mughal palaces and the grand havelis of Rajasthan, our Mughal Black and White Marble floors recall a time when maharajahs commissioned artisans to create timeless patterns of power and elegance. The classic chequerboard, laid in cool black and white, was a hallmark of Mughal architecture, adorning courtyards, pavilions, and ceremonial halls with enduring geometry and prestige.
Hand-aged to suggest centuries of wear, these marbles bring the weight of history into a contemporary setting. Versatile yet storied, they can be laid in the traditional chequerboard, all black, all white, or in bespoke configurations.
Slabs, custom sizing, cutting, and texturing are also offered. Cabochons may be commissioned with inlaid metal, onyx, or yellow fossil for an added touch of luxury and heritage.
